Okay, as i promised: the new experiment is finished. The purpose was showing what is possible with nesting boxes.
I tried creating a "box in the box" effect by having a container surrounded with a border and absolutely positioned 5 smaller boxes in it. Each small box holds another smaller box and so on, so i get 4 boxes inside one small box.
The cool thing is that i had to use a weird IE hack, because IE has problems rendering boxes under a size 20px.

I started a new experiment which involves positioning nested boxes. I'll try to have it finished by the end of the week so stay tuned folks!

Yes my friends, Macromedia announced the release of their new updates: MX 2004. Dreamweaver, Flash, ... all packed with new goodies. Release date should be september first. Rumor has it that Dreamweaver comes with extremely good CSS support (almost as good as TopStyle, although i doubt that).

Eric Meyer posted a great article describing how to correct problems with CSS floating elements. The article explains why floats are defined to stick out of their containers, and ways to work around this behavior in situations where you don't want it to happen.

Yesterday i asked a site review on the P7 newsgroup and received some nice comments. The friendly folks there also pointed to some minor errors which i was able to fix (don't you just love CSS when it works LOL?). So a big thank you to tx, David, Robert, Ryan et all!!

Well, this is it: the site went live as from a few moments ago. After a long time of trying, crying, shouting, hair pulling, ... in short all the emotions you undergo when designing, i decided to take the plunge.
Of course, all comments are welcome. Stay tuned because new stuff that will be added to the site will be commented here.

Just came back from a trip to the coast. Got some nice tanning but it was extremely hot. We are still having an extreme heat wave and firefighters continue to battle raging forest fires.
And i managed to make another cool example what you can achieve with CSS. Seems i'm in the mood to mess about with buttons lol

Well, i had a real slow day today. Temperature here is still going through the roof. But in the mean time i'm still working on this project and had some work done. Made some cool buttons.
